Terms & Conditions
The basis on which we quote, manufacture and deliver custom parts.
1. Scope
These terms apply to quotations, orders and manufacturing services provided by Meridian ("we", "us"). They apply to custom CNC machining, 3D scanning, reverse engineering, prototyping and related engineering work.
2. Quotations
Quotations are prepared after an engineering review of the files, photographs or physical part supplied. A quotation describes the agreed scope, quantity, material, finishing, lead time and price. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Any change to geometry, material, quantity or finishing may require a revised quotation.
3. Customer-supplied files and intellectual property
By submitting files you confirm that you have the right to share them for quotation and manufacturing purposes. You retain ownership of your designs. We use the files only to evaluate and produce your parts and do not resell, publish or reuse them without your written permission.
4. Feasibility and tolerances
Every project is evaluated individually. Machine specifications describe the equipment, not a guaranteed result on every part. Achievable tolerances depend on material, geometry, tooling, workholding, machining strategy, thermal conditions and inspection method, and are confirmed per project. We may decline work that falls outside our equipment envelope or capability.
5. Safety-critical and regulated parts
Components intended for safety-critical use — including flight-critical drone parts, load-bearing robotic or exoskeleton joints, vehicle safety systems or medical devices — require separate engineering assessment, testing and validation. Machining feasibility alone does not certify fitness for such use.
6. Orders and payment
Production begins after written approval of the quotation and the agreed payment arrangement. Unless otherwise agreed, payment terms are stated on the quotation. Currency, taxes and bank charges are as indicated on the invoice.
7. Lead times and delivery
Lead times are estimates based on the agreed scope and are confirmed at order acceptance. International shipping, duties and customs requirements are the responsibility of the buyer unless we agree otherwise in writing.
8. Inspection and acceptance
Parts are checked against the agreed requirements before shipment. Please inspect the delivery promptly. Claims relating to visible defects, quantity or specification should be raised within 14 days of receipt so we can investigate.
9. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or production. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Confidentiality
We treat customer drawings, models and project information as confidential. We do not display customer work publicly without permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties.
